With more than a decade of experience, I am a versatile designer.

About

For over 13 years, I have honed my abilities as both a Graphic and UX/Ui Designer. I am highly skilled in information layout design, user experience design, websites & funnel systems, proposals & presentations, and custom design that converts visitors through powerful experiences. I also have experience creating full online course systems and materials.

A few of the industries that I have experience in include corporate training, fintech, medical, gaming, real estate, startups, life coaching, and more. My work includes a number of other customer-facing businesses that range from local services to national products.

An ambitious learner, I am passionate about tracking down and obtaining both new skills and knowledge.

I also have an interest in digital illustration and have been on various different creative projects. With a balance of creative and technical skills, I am a well-rounded and valuable member to a team. Being a big picture thinker also helps me creatively solve problems.

Design Process Breakdown

Below is a quick look at my own process for design projects. My process is very versatile and adaptable to each individual project, whether it is for a website, marketing, or custom designs. Each step is more involved but this gives an idea of how I work.

This process requires an understanding of psychology as it affects a user and their experience. What they like, dislike, think, and believe make a huge impact on how a design is interpreted or acted upon. Good design keeps these variables in consideration as it works from an advanced process.

FAQ's

What are your favorite sources of design inspiration?

The short answer is people. The world that we design is made for people. How they move, how they think, what gets their own imaginations stirring, I find it all inescapably fascinating. I find the mind and psychology very inspirational as well, and my research in psychology and consumer behavior has directly affected how I create a design, especially when it comes to my banding or website work. As an example, it is why I utilize texture and other elements in my design. It helps to create the point of focus and the boundaries that move them through the media as intended.

How do you deal with creative blocks?

I find that a block often comes from something not being clear. I will usually go back and conduct some fresh research, or return to early mockup material. Sometimes I need to look away from something to come back with fresh eyes, but I will still usually just move to another part of the project or other general work tasks and then return to it and try again.

How do you handle negative feedback?

I am more interested in something being right or being a good design, so I would rather have the negative feedback so I can work through the problem. The success of the project is most important, so if I have to change direction or fix something I would rather just go ahead and get that feedback so I can do so.
